But the one thing that irks me the most - y'all want Rihanna to start writing songs so she can be respected as an artist - but Why? She's a pop artist and she managed to stay relevant for more than 10 years not because people were expecting her to become the new Pablo Neruda. Whitney wasn't a songwriter, Celine neither, not even Elvis. What's the problem with that?

People are here for her voice and persona, that's why FFS was a WW hit - even if the ATRL lobby tries to deny it for whatever reason. Can you please at least try to be more objective?
