Im so disappointed... I was really looking forward to this album when 45S dropped and all my hype is gone. I own all Rih's albums but idk if Ima pick this one up. I just want her to make a cohesive and good album. Is that too much to ask?

At least Gaga was actually being honest with her work. It's not like she knew nothing about art and hired someone to make her cover She was well-versed in her quest to blend ART and POP (that quest failed). She doesn't right songs or base her artwork and image on something that just looks trendy, it's something that is deep and personal to her. Rihanna doesn't know Braille. Yet she's doing the absolute most with all this ****. I mean good for her, hopefully she gains some respect I guess? I personally respected her before when she was serving bops and being real with people, calling people out, etc. That was all natural for her. This isn't.

So as soon as Rihanna do something which can be meaningful artistic for you of most of all then no, it must have been edgy, can't be artistical but if it were any shadowed singer, it would have been crown hope/revelation of the year for the music industry.

I just want to say as a non Rihanna fan who likes maybe like 5 or 6 of her songs, this idea is really neat. However, it could go two ways. One way is like ARTPOP which has some good songs, with very poor execution for a majority of the album/era. The other way would be to have some good music, and to put lots of time and effort into the album with no over-producing/cringe-worthy moments. From an artistic point of view, I love how this stands for Rihanna basically saying the music is what should stand out(and it also give blind people a cool experience.) It could go both ways though, but I'm cautiously optimistic.
