Their streaming power is like 0 compared to Demi's... they don't even got 2M of views in their music after 4 days... Demi gets 1M per day with confident + CFTS (+1M)... SEA/TEA will save her, she'll be fine
Selena was barely leading in the first prediction with streams...
It doesn't apply to all predictions though. I'm positive about her having a good chance but with them doing promo and everything their chances are almost equal to demis chances

yeah but selena eventually ended up leading with sales too (even if it was just by 2k) demi might not be able to catch up with them at this point and if her singles/streaming doesn't end up huge they will end up getting the #1 with their bigger sales and decent streams(?)
Streaming are fine, but only US streaming counts and we don't know how many of her streams comes from the US.
I think they didn't care too much, honestly.
They know it's not all about the first week sales. This is like CFTS. Longevity is the matter. I hope they work on that, instead of desperately trying to be #1 for the sake of it.
She has done an amazing performance at SNL. Let her enjoy herself.
I will say: I don't care about this #1. If it comes, I will celebrate, but otherwise, I'm alreayd proud of her.
I consider this era such a step up for her. In everything. I'm loving the promotion and the preparation behind it. Yes, she is doing less promotion, but better aimed imo. You can tell that there's an actual work behind her performances, from the look to the arrangment of her music. Yes, She could have done at least Ellen, but it's fine, because she can do it for the next single and it will probably have even more anticipation.
I like the fact that they seem to have.. a direction.
She is on point.
Then, again. Success and sales are not automatic. But I think she's getting there.

Even if Demi doesn't get that #1, I wouldn't be sad because obv that's not what she's aiming for. Or maybe she hoped that she her power and 1 performance could help her grab it. But we all know she's not everyone's fav. So she should've worked harder for it.
