Quick Updates: Trump and Carson have both asked for secret service and their request is currently being considered. Jim Webb is thinking about running as an Independent.

Except for Politico and The Hill, all these pundits are predicting a Rubio win for the nom all of a sudden.

I'm like...on what planet?

Trump has an achilles heel that will come in the Spring, Rubio doesn't have the needed infrastructure or $ and the DNC will figure out a way (or force a way) for Hillary to edge out Bernie.

My prediction, as it has been since August is Bush v. Hillary.

It'll be a bloody, nasty fight there, but it'll still be Bush v. Hillary.

Hm. I think he'll pull votes in a few southern areas w/more informed voter bases. But I don't see him impacting the election. You have to matter to do that.

I don't know. He's polling what? 1%? and has only raised a million dollars (give or take) so far. So it's not like he really has any support.

What I don't understand is how someone like Jim Webb can be so blinded by ego that he thinks he could possibly win as an independent. Does he not have family to tell him that it's time to pack up and save himself further humiliation?

Naturally he would pull some votes but he would have to do better than 1%. Then again 1% could be huge this election; who knows right now. Al Gore would have taken that 1%.

Literally every single one of them said they got interested in this election because of Sanders or Trump (regardless of who they're actually voting for). I really hope this election causes more young people (and people overall) to vote.

And, yeah, I doubt Webb will actually take much of the vote.

I hope more people vote too. I think the election has more of a social impact than it did before thanks to social media. I think this will result in more people voting than in 2008...especially since you don't have an incumbent running.

I'm just being hopeful. I can't vote (as a legal resident) and it pains me that so many Americans just give up that opportunity.

At the very least, all of the people I've registered so far have been incredibly excited to vote and some of them got their friends to vote as well.

I would love for Biden to run

Don't get me wrong I'm pro Hillary and will be voting for her in the primary and general election (if she's the nominee as long as she doesn't royally screw up or a republican says something I like) but having Biden in would really make people think about who they want to support

I feel like right now many are voting Hillary because she's the most established name. She has good policies but as an independent I feel as though she's not so trustworthy

. She has my vote because Sanders is far too liberal and the republicans (most) are nut cases. If a familiar and lovable person like Biden runs she will actually have to work for my vote which is what I want to see. I still would more than likely support her over Biden but I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't vote for her because of him.

Now him running or not is up to him but I'd love it
