Different situation. Kendrick was establishing/debuting his brand.
Adele's brand needs to be evolved and I doubt her label controls much...and she doesn't strike me as someone who'd put up with anyone telling her no, especially after 21's success.
Plus, Gaga's brand is the safest it's ever been for Adele post C2C and TSOM.

It'd be cool if it happened. I'd love to hear them croon together. It'd be a good song to appear alongside a re-release of C2C with some Christmas tracks and La Vie en Rose.
