I'll always support Gwennie Gwen over Ferbie (because of talent and No Doubt being music royalty). Both are great though. I didn't like Ferbie's music as much aside from Glamorous and Fergalicious and Big Girls Eat Pie.
"The Sweet Escape" is Gwen's best song, duh. Can't believe it peaked #2.
It felt so MASSIVE too. I think it's her song with the most recurrent airplay too, other than Hollaback Girl. Poor Rich Girl was such a huge hit but seems a bit lost in the past.
Gwen is one the earliest slays I can remember. I use to hear "Rich Girl" on the radio all the time, "Hollaback Girl" was obvs everywhere, and "The Sweet Escape" video use to come on TV a lot.
Speaking of that, Akon was SO huge. It's crazy how forgotten he is.
