Remember that horrid GYHAB performance at the People's Choice Awards right before she went back to rehab? You could see and hear the nerves. I think doing the VMA's shook off her fear of performing at big events. She better do all the major award shows this year and kill it.

Can someone please explain what makes this album so good to you? Cool For The Summer was such a fresh thing for her and for once I had expectations. Confident (the song) sounds like a Bionic leftover. Kingdom Come is probably the worst song of her career. such a boring, unoriginal song.
Stone Cold and Father are good but they could be easily on Demi too. It's just feel for me like she hasn't changed at all since DEMI.

Rolling Stone said it better than me (they said it on DEMI but I think it's pretty much can be said on this album too):

It's predictable stuff--sassy songs, lovelorn songs, a couple of pop-psych pep talks--but Lovato is good company, and her voice has gustiness and character.

Overall, I'm disappointed. I do hope she will get a grammy nom at least.

this album is nothing like DEMI in my opinion. I don't even get how they are compared.

Demi Lovato just scores the best performance of SNL history as she performed a coolest medley of “Cool For The Summer” and “Confident” on this week’s “SNL.”

Lovato succeeded to find tremendous acknowledgement from critics and music lovers by performing “Cool For The Summer” that is the first single from Lovato’s fifth and latest album Confident, while “Confident” is the second song from the album. Notably, “Cool For The Summer” tops Billboard’s Dance Club Songs. It also top on iTunes just after it was released.

Remarkably, Lovato’s fifth album “Confident” is also known for its absolutely wonderful video, directed by famed filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, staring Lovato and Michelle Rodriguez. The video kicks off with Lovato being pardoned and released from a prison by a U.S. Marshal in exchange for her tracking down Michelle Rodriguez. But just after her release, Lovato finds that she has been trapped and double-crossed and re-arrested after a fight with Rodriguez.
Though the prison was equipped with extreme security equipment, Lovato succeeds a death-defying escape from a prison truck and chases the Rodriguez again. But finally they both reach on a conclusion; bothwomen realize they’ve trapped in a net laid by the corrupt U.S. Marshal, and ultimately kick out him with his gang.

Are you talking about in 2012?

Yeah the first month or two that year she would rant about random things and be mad 24/7 and then she said she needed a "vacation" and then came back with blonde hair and rarely tweeted and she secretly lived in a sober house for the next half a year.

basically during her "sober is sexy" days she wasn't actually sober BUT she is the healthiest she has ever been now.

75k in sales would actually be fine, but it would be great if she could extend the sales to 80k

ive seen so many people on twitter saying they didn't know who she was before tonight but they are a fan now so I think sales will go up a little.

Yeah it was around late 2011, early 2012. Her team hid it from everybody and even faked tweets and live chats. I remember they took her out for a little while to perform at a Brazil festival and she did good but you could tell something was really off.

When she got out GYHAB was stating to blow up on radio and she got X Factor
