Well for starters, Ariana is actually talented. Ariana is also not annoying (like Demi) and actually has a great catalogue (unlike Selena).

It wasn't huge like That's So Raven or Hannah Montana, but it did pretty okay. It was big enough for her to develop a fan base before she even got started.
