I hate the fact that some people bring up ratings so much in this thread. In previous threads ratings were mentioned briefly after the first episode aired and then the final episodes, and now all you do is talk about that crap. I hope this doesn't continue cause it implies most monsters really do only care about the ratings...which is sad.
I hope for season 6 or 7 Ryan does cults. Look up heaven's gates or Jim Jones. They ended in mass suicides. Jim Jones i think had 800 people kill themselves. And heavens gates only had like 40 but the reasoning behind it is so scary.

the first 2 episodes of freakshow were also 1.5 hours. I think its just to fit in some extra story. Im sure next week it will be normal

In my case I care about ratings because I'm still afraid that people will dump the show and that they only checked the first episode to see Gaga and etc. FS really screwed up everything
I just watched the first two episodes and I'm really liking it so far. Gaga's not the best actress in the world, but she's nowhere near as bad as I thought she'd be.

Yeah, but think of the people who also didn't watch the first episode because of FS and heard positive feedbacks about it last week that possibly tuned in this week

We were nervous about this season's quality, what Ryan will do, Gaga's acting debut, so why can't we worry about the ratings? There's nothing wrong with caring about ratings, especially if it's your favorite show featuring your favorite artist, you want it to do well, deservingly too because last night's episode was great. The main reason is because it's going to reflect on Gaga out of everyone because she's the draw and biggest push this season, we just don't want that negativity or the show to near cancellation. The only thing you should be attacking is if people put the ratings entirely before the show and Gaga, if they're lackluster then they turn and starting basing their opinions on the ratings.
I still can't get over Gaga's acting improvement and how flawless she looked in the second episode.
