But can I just say this is shaping up to become such a great season. Everyone (sans that little Holden ****) delivered their lines amazingly and Gaga improved tenfold since her previous episode Like I don't even see her as 'Gaga'.

Did anyone else think the girl who was sitting next to Gaga (drinking her blood i guess?) was Angela Basset's character? (in the 70s disco scene)

Episode 2 >>> Episode 1 >>>>> whole of freakshow.

Edit: Also Mare's character was my fave this episode. So amazing.

Well I really liked Gaga's acting and the story is interesting but overall this episode was boring.
It had some exciting moments but they couldn't keep it up,

Im still mesmerized by Tristans body. His muscles literally engorged they look like they are about to burst from his body. its like he has a high %bf but still has tight visible abs

Also I've come to realize Gaga doesn't care about those kids at all. First I thought she must have had some maternal instincts for them but no way. The way she said you gotta be smart if you wanna live forever. The way those kids feed on the victim directly and not her. She's just using them as filters of some sort.

Hopefully Donovan and Ramona kill Tristan. Next week Gags will be turning Drake, no? More sex scenes coming, all of them remind her of Mr March thats why she is using them.

Gaga continues to surprise me in her first major role, settling into her performance and delivering her lines with an understated elegance that is less Madonna in Four Rooms and more Eartha Kitt in just about everything.

The guy who freaked out at the idea of killing someone up until Gaga vamped him and has zero religious ties and has broken like half the commandments in one episode?

He's kinda reminding me of Tobey Maguire in The Great Gatsby.. not a good sign but I'll keep my fingers crossed for improvement. Any scenes anyone would like turned into gifs?

Ok the 1st part of this episode got very interesting while the 2nd part started to get boring.

John, typically as the main protagonist getting further into details about the Hotel. Wes' acting is actually on point, him being the detective investigating stuff and such.

Alex was as emotionless and coldhearted as last time. Part of her role I suppose.

I did the girl who plays Scarlet wrong. She's actually a cute young talented actress. I just couldn't get into her in the first episode. Lachlan still doesn't do much to me with his dead expression. Holden... he's as cute as ever.

Claudia aka Naomi Campbell made a nice entrance. Just like you would expect a true star to have a cameo. Guess things will look bad for her in the following episode.

I already hate Tristan Duffy. There was nothing likeable about him.

Will Drake gives me the impression he's just there. I almost forgot he's the new hotel owner. I hope things will get more interesting the following episodes.

I also dislike James March. Evan's character is too gruesome for my taste. Ms. Evers still slays me on the other side. She's lovely.

Iris didn't really shine in this episode but I'm sure there's more to come. The same could be said about Liz Taylor who just served as bartender most of the time.

Poor Donovan. I feel with him.

Sally did her thing as usual. Scare little kids and play with the minds of John & Gabriel.

And last but not least: The Countess was actually pretty much improving compared to last episode. I still don't understand how she could leave Donovan for that junkie-ass-rat. I guess neither do the little Monsters.

I actually like the actor, he has good presence. But yeah needs more to do. Same goes for Liz Taylor.

Have you not seen the preview of the next episode :x That's the reason why I think he's the copycat. He says he's a huge fan of Evan's character,Mr. March... And I don't think you have to be overly religious to commit those crimes. It seems to me those are more of a mockery (like Mr. March said 'I guess I have to kill god'). In my opinion that makes sense.

Liz Taylor is great. Denis O'Hare is capable of great things (see True Blood) and he's owning every small little scene he gets with his character. I hope they give him some more screen time in the future.

Just watched the episode. Miles Better than the pilot. I think the introduction of new characters has helped a lot. The flashbacks to 1925 were the best part for me. Mr. March is already my favorite character. I loved the OTT delivery from Evan Peters and Mare Winningham was just Brilliant.

Oh and Gaga also majorly improved this episode.

Huh, good point on that actually, though this killer seems a lot more genuine with it. That Adultery scenario seemed like the person was genuinely pissed off and not just mocking. Still leaning towards SPD on this. Any chance Chloe Sevigny might have had an affair at some point? That would basically seal it as John (or vice versa, and she could be the killer)
