-Lack of other viable suspects. Sally and March can't be the killer. Donovan/Tristan/Elizabeth seem insanely unlikely considering they REALLY don't seem religious. Killer was acting before Will Drake showed up. I guess Iris/Liz are possible but..... Why? It's kinda between John and Alex

the killer is either really mr march and they use that to introduce a way for ghosts to leave their place so they can use that in later seasons too or it's someone who is impersonating mr march and is obsessed with him and wants to fulfill his job.

John and Alex don't make sense, it has to be someone who is interested in the hotel and is obsessed with Mr March. Especially because the first phone call said the killer is in room 64 and that's the ''heart'' of the hotel and it was the office of mr March.
