also Obsessed needed to be folowed by It's a Wrap or BGK and not IWTKWLI.. how the song reached 22m impressions and peaked at what it peaked is a miracle cause the US ain't her for 80's remakes.
I am still hoping for MCIIY to finally blow up in the US and rightfull advance to platinum level with her second christmas evergreen: One Child or Oh Santa.

They definitely ****ed up both albums by going for the safest second single choice both times. They could have made IWTKWLI an european single (and promoted it, actually) but the album was full of rather catchy urban tunes - why serve the US an 80s cover ballad? Oh well.
And I definitely hope that Oh Santa will finally claim its place as the #2 christmas bop.
