In the prelim #s, ratings are actually a bit below a 1: 0.965, while Grandfathered had 0.959.
At least it's Fox's top show of the night.

It might have been #2 on it's premiere week, but it dropped super fast.



But considering most shows are decreasing fast, streaming/DVR numbers will probably become more considered in decision-making, but as i said before problem is that Companies that pay for ads (and those pay for our shows) don't really care for those numbers, since those viewers do not watch ads.

But i believe that will have to change somehow, since Live ratings are falling HARD this fall already



i LOVe this show, it is my #1 new show this fall and i pray it would get renewed, but Nielsen Ratings do not lie

VOD/streaming don't make as much money as standard advertising via live viewing. And obviously FOX aren't going to say they're disappointed with the ratings

Study as long as you want and as much as you want, but the point is, it's FOX's #2 show behind Empire with all combined platforms, and they're still getting ad revenue from streams. The show's not gonna get cancelled; maybe moved to FX (still managed by FOX anyway), but this will not be its only season.

And regardless, Emma's acting is fantastic even if the character is one-note.

If FOX doesn't end up cancelling it's going to set an interesting precedent for the future of their network.

DVR, VOD & Streams should hold more weight and FOX might be the first network to realize this. I don't recall any other shows being saved this way... most shows with terrible ratings are saved because of syndication deals.

Now girls let's not forget a hallmark of acting is actually making the performance believable and as close to natural as you can.

Like the character or not Emma (Chanel), Nasim (Gigi), Niecy (Denise), Breezy (Jennifer), Lea (Hester) and Glenn (Chad) are on point with the acting thus far.
