I'm not sure Season 1 could have "referenced" Scream anymore if it tried. The characters are ripped from Scream 1 (With Audrey thrown in as a Kirby expy), the killer and motive are ripped from Scream 3, the ending is from KW's original Scream 4..
And the homages like Marnie in the deleted S4 scene (Rachel hanging), the voice changer from 3 (which actually worked in this series tho), and the girls in the bathroom were less than subtle. The references were way too much for me at times.
My favourite thing about the Scream movies was how Ghostface wasn't some impossibly talented superhero guy. Like he always fell and wasn't some martial arts guru. They kinda missed that in this show, but I hope they bring it back

I don't think so. Considering MTV took Teen Wolf off of Netflix a few months after it was first on there shows they don't want any of their shows on Netflix for some reason.

Oh. Educate me. I assumed it was on Netflix but then took down.
It's most likely on Netflix in Australia and the UK and other countries since other channels may have passed on buying the rights. Either that or since a lot of people have Netflix it was added on a bunch of foreign ones.
Still waiting for new season 2 news I need a trailer rn.
