One of P!nk's target tracks is probably getting my 11 and The Truth About Love gets like 90% better after the standard edition ends so don't worry. And Play is one of my favorite tracks in Nelly's discography much less TSI.

To deal with the constant requests to change our rules and allow albums to be re-rated, I've devised something different: We'll be taking on six years that saw a number of albums previously rated - 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2014 - and reintroducing them. Voters *you all* will pick your favorite five or ten songs from each respective album, and they will form a "megarate" to determine the best song of the year.

I grouped Dead Petz with Revival/Moonlight/Confident because this was before the release so we had no clue what kind of album she would be putting out.

I grouped Ariana with Miley/Demi/Selena because they're the biggest pop girls of the new generation. No one else around their age really comes close. They get compared all the time on here.

I guess I'd be fine replacing Dead Petz with another album but with who? Meghan (if Title hasn't already been used)? Tinashe is too urban/experimental and she's... well ya know. Her album probably won't be out for a while anyway.

Oh and by the time Moonlight is out, Miley might have started her new actual era so maybe she could work anyway.

On the rockier side, there's Music Complete by New Order and Paper Gods by Duran Duran

Neon Indian and Grimes should be dropping albums very soon, and half of Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance by Belle & Sebastian is very synthy while the other half is very indie so it's a wildcard.

Ok Ace, so I know a while ago we were talking about some sort of country ladies rate with like signature songs from a bunch of girls in it. I'm still interested in hosting it, but I can't remember who we had down for it.

I'd like to do something that includes some Dolly, and others in the older crowd... So, like...

Dolly Parton, Reba, Trisha Yearwood, Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Alison Krauss, LeAnn Rimes, Lee Ann Womack, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves(?), Sara Evans(?), Gretchen Wilson(?), Dixie Chicks(?)

And I'm not familiar with their music, but they should probably be there:
Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, Patty Loveless, The Judds / Wynonna, Emmylou Harris, Loretta Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Anne Murray


5 each would be around 100-115.

And I think I'd want to exclude the crossover hits. Poor That Don't Impress Me Much and You Belong With Me.


I don't think splitting into two rates would be a good idea. Including the 90s on girls is the only way we'd get anyone to listen to the older ladies. We could trim out some fat (Sara Evans, Gretchen Wilson, Anne Murray, etc). I'm not cutting Taylor, though. She's the big draw, and Her country-only singles are crucial to 2000s country.
