Why is it surprising? He's a nobody outside of the U.S., UK, and Canada. Europe and Latin America are where the real YouTube hits are at.

I see all of these local DJ's and D-list Latin singers racking up 200M+ views on each video like it's nothing. Even Prince Royce has a Spanish video with over 500M views and he's like the biggest flop ever.
