I like the concepts, the production, the visuals, the performances etc. the most. Even though I can't understand the lyrics I've decided that for that kind of music lyrics aren't the thing I need the most. Lyrics are important but there are lots of other components I think of too.
With Kpop, I really love the upbeat nature of it. Western pop has become so... boring. And a lot of the arguments where people think western artists are ~indie, or ~real, or ~quirky are so fake because a lot of them are groomed into certain niche markets, thereby losing any real authenticity they have.
tbh I just like trying out new music too so listening to other languages can be fun for finding cool stuff
