This album is a freaking masterpiece! I'm in love with every single song from this album and I can't wait for the songs' bridges to slay me with Demi's high notes!! I'll give my opinion on this album based on the snippets:
1. "Confident" is an OK+ song! Huge vocals (that Bb5

) and I get why she wanted to release it as a single. "So you say i'm complicated?/But you've had me underrated" totally explains what Demi wanted to say with the song. It also has a shady message to everyone who says she's problematic. The music video is great! I love it!
2. Definetely, a great single. Everything in this song is so well organized. The guitar solos slay! The verses are simple but catchy and the chorus gets everybody in a huge hype!! The high notes at the end really match the song and it's a nice way to end the song.
3. "Old Ways" was my least favorite but it has grown on me and I personally like the verses more than the actual chorus, but the verses sound kind of disconnected from the chorus.
4. "For You" is my least favorite atm but i'm sure it'll grow on me (still like it tho), I also feel like the verses are a little disconnected to the chorus somehow but the chorus definetely slays (I wish she had used real instruments on that one instead of synth, but I do understand that being a futuristic ballad from the 80's (her 80's vocals), it doesn't need to have real instruments).
5. "Stone Cold" is one the flawless masterpieces of these album! One of Demi's best ballads with no doubt. I don't understand how some people say are vocals are too much (?) She's putting her own soul into the song, the emotion she puts in this song crosses all the possible existent lines. A masterpiece with no doubts, and that G#5 on the studio version slayed the **** out of me. The instruments are perfection!
6. "Kingdom Come" is one of the standouts of this album. The beat sounds somehow like Black Widow but the verses are totally different, and that pre-chorus (????), it's so catchy!!!! This is a very potential single, I'm hoping Iggy's part doesn't let me down. Hopefully, she releases this a single!
7. "Waitin' For You" is a great song, the standout of this song IMO is definetely Demi's verse where she says "but you made **** **** personal/ talking about my bad habits/ man, ******** my habits, don't act like you got none". At first Sirah's little verse part (from the snippet) kind of "turned me off" but after listening to it a few times, it's actually pretty good. The chorus is OK, catchy and cool but too much synth on some parts.
8. I'm in love with Wildfire (the transitions from head voice to chest voice are so good!!) - she finally has 4 octave song (Eb3-Eb7). The sexiness song is very well approached and the metaphors used such as "scarlet kiss" are so smart!! Another possible single. Also one of my favorites.
9. "Lionheart" is a perfect ballad single!! The fact that Demi sings the chorus of Lionheart with low larynx to add emotion is very smart and incredible! One of my favorite tracks from the album and the chorus is also somehow catchy (?)
10. "Yes" is a great song! I believe that after all those "bops", you have this track that is kind of more relaxing and a total love anthem, and the "yes" in the bridge part and the chorus are really good. Not a huge song, but a good one. The G5 in the end slays.
11. "Father" seems somehow a way for Demi to finally say goodbye to her father unlike the other songs related to her dad. She sings the verses as if she's angry, but then calms down on the chorus as if, like I said, she's finally saying goodbye. I'm sure she'll give everything into song when we hear the whole bridge.
12. "Stars" is somehow generic but really catchy and has that feeling "**** the world, let's have fun", but I do find that breakdown in the beginning desnecessary. I LOVE THIS SONG ANYWAY!
It kind of reminds of "Hit Lights" too, idk. Maybe because it has a similar message?
13. "Mr. Hughes" is a really great standout, an excellent song IMO, it's very shady but it has JoJo feeling and has that Amy Winehouse (?) tone on the verses... It has lots of Jazz instruments and is some kind of motown song.
This album is a 9/10 and Demi's best album in my opinion. I also think this album describes really well this new "Demi era"!
