You can't compare the two song on the digital field. Today's sales are the worst. Anyway, Yes, I think that HA did better digitally than CFTS, but still, HA spent 12 weekd in the Billboard Hot 100 top 20, while CFTS spent 10 weeks so far. I think that they had kinda similar success overall in the USA, taking in account streaming and radio too.

And we need to say that they probably messed up with the release date. This should have probably been released on late May..

My roommates were playing this last night and everyone was getting their life, including my "I only listen to hipster indie stuff" roommate.

But yeah, this song deserved to smash so much harder. Hopefully something from this album can at least pull a Neon Lights and resurrect the era if Confident doesn't do well

It seems like Heart Attack and Cool for the Summer had similar success. HA just caught on faster and peaked quicker. The only reason people call CFTS an underperformance is because it peaked at #11 instead of #10.

It's not. It did well enough for a summer song released in September in UK. You know..

Anyway I'm in Wales for 3 months studying and I heard the song everywhere, both on radio and parties on campus and everybody seemed to getting their life from it. So surely it did well in UK
