I said that she's not smart enough to back up her edgy era, not that she wasn't smart in general. Maybe you didn't understand what I said or maybe I worded it in a wrong way. She's never come across as someone extremely artsy fartsy or someone who would be able to defend something that is so abstract. Maybe it's just the way I see Rihanna in general - generic Pop girl who should stick to fun eras.
