Yeah I get what you mean but I think you may have misunderstood what I meant
I don't mean that I don't write meaningful songs. I do write meaningful songs as ballads are my favourite songs to write. But I don't like to go into prose and heavy metaphor and wild out there kind of lyrics. E.g. instead of saying a metaphor that's really clever about the sun and the moon reflecting how my heart feels etc, I will just directly tell you that my heart is aching and breaking (of course, in lyrical terms, ahah)
