The previous seasons have the benefit of being complete. When FS premiered I thought it was going to be the best, yet as the episodes went on I saw it become a snooze fest and lost interest. Asylum didn't capture me, especially with Adam Levine being a guest star, orignallly but watching the season as a whole changed my perspective.
I love the season opener for Hotel but who knows what'll become of the season. I see a lot of potential here. It does remind of the first two seasons in that "nothing" really happens so that the seeds for upcoming disasters can come into play. Hoping Ryan can keep it together because I am not here for three consecutive messy seasons.
yeah i agree FS had a great start. Coven too.
But MH and Asylum were a mess, especially MH And was still great..
I re-watched the episode, and Gaga's acting was actually GOOD
she only had 3 bad lines - "I'm SO pleased to meet you" "I cannot WAIT to ..." , the last scene - and one bad move -the hand move on the 4some-
I'm sure by episode 5 or 6 she will be delivering emmy-worthy acting
she shot the orgy first right? maybe that cheyenne scene was her second scene and she was obviously nervous cause she didn't find her accent there yet. i'm very hopeful.
its the percent of people aged 18-49 watching, which is the most important demographic to advertisers, a high number like 3.0 keeps the show from being cancelled.
Re-watched it and I think Gaga's worst scene is with the children, idk why you all like that one
I agree with this. I think her scene with Will Drake is not that bad. Her scene while talking to Wills son and the other kids in that room is actually worse.
I think we are overanalyzing Gaga in a way we wouldn't do with any other actress on the show.
She was fine and that's the most important thing.
It's such a disadvantage for her because EVERYONE, including the fans, the haters, the critics and the GP will really care to analyse her acting a lot more than other actors. It's inevitable.

Her delivery of dialogue between Will Drake and the kid was effy to be honest. The rest are fine.
But the "Your boy has a jawline for daysssss!" really caught me off guard.
The hot young guy in the scene was played by today’s stunning Morning Man Nathan Peterson who I did an interview with yesterday.
I had to know: What was it like being naked in bed with Bomer?
‘He’s a very attractive guy – he’s my new man crush,’ Nathan said. ‘He’s so cool, so sweet and down to Earth. Really personable.’
‘t was an intense scene. I was there completely naked, I was nervous as hell. I was kind of like intimidated at first. I’m sitting there, Ryan Murphy directing, Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer were right there. Everybody’s naked. I’m so nervous and all three of those people really, really made me feel so comfortable and so at ease. my nervousness really did go away. I have so much respect for Gaga, Ryan and Matt.’
