She was trying to pull off some sort of accent and let me tell you - she left me unconvinced. She just needs to be more natural, I don't care that she's an ages old vampire, her mannerism should fit itself to the modern world.
I'm so disappointed right now, but at the same time I have hope for the next episodes. Also, mot very convinced with Gaga as an actress, although the poor girl just had 2 lines. It has potential, but as a first episode I think this was terrible

Well from the season trailer it looks like she improves a lot. So I'm not worried.

Unfortunately for the oldest monster Ryan Murphgay, Lad Fad simply can't act. Matt Bomer's ass was the only redeeming part of this unnecessarily long premiere.

the one with the countess would be a flashback too.....i just don't see as of now what sense it would have to keep that scene if it was not used in ep1. had they not showed the kid in the hotel yes, but now i don't know.
well what happens to the kids once they are there? does she kill them and make them not age like herself and the other dead people? that would explain why he looks the same
