Exactly. Beyonce basically said as much during the "4" era & the couple interviews she did b4 ST was released. She overworked herself to the bone for 15 years leading up to that time & paid her dues...now she feels she deserves to have her time as a mother & wife and make the music she really wants to make. I'm paraphrasing on that. Another she said about it...she will be more selective about how she does her schedule. So I don't really see there being any change in the promo....I think those exhaustive DC & pre-4 era promo schedules are behind her.

That vegan diet promo was done as a favor for their friend & trainer...and that 1 minute appearance propelled the book in the Top 5 NYT Best Sellers list. and she was done.

Beyonce will never do interviews like she used to because:

1.) She doesn't need to.
2.) The media completely wanted to dismantle her when "her belly bump folded"

Why would she give the media the satisfaction of destroying her brand: the most powerful brand in music today, by a single interview?

But next era, I do hope that she gives more award show performances. There is nothing wrong with reminding the lesser girls why she's superior.

That's my only problem with her. Her voice evolution has been impressive in the las 5 years but yet there still no good record that showcase that we only know because of the life performance of certain songs. And she hasn't done listen or dangerously in love in like 5 years! And if I were a boy arrangement take away any vocal challenge in the original record.

Can we just take the time to amuse ourselves when reading how some of the Navy (including RiRi herself apparently) are truly believing Rihanna changed the history of album cover when in fact Bey's cover of ST is so much more iconic due to its simplicity

No. There were no reputable media outlets that supported the surrogate rumors; yeah, they reported on it after the story took off, but most dismissed it as ridiculous aside from the bottom feeding bloggers and Wendy Williams -- who is just the same as those bottom feeding bloggers that was lucky enough to parlay it into a semi-legit platform. Even outlets that would normally relish in such messiness reported and immediately dismissed it as ridiculous.

I honestly don't think Rihanna or Beyonce care enough about each other to passive aggressively dedicate a whole album title to dismissing the other. They seem like the kind of people who have no issue with one another but that just don't click beyond a surface level.

I like the album cover for ANTi. One of the best I ever seen. That's said. These are different album covers with different meanings based on the album. They're not meant to be compared

This is probably why they haven't done any sort of collab. I mean we have Jay-Z, Kanye West and Nicki but none of them attempted to bring the two together or failed?

If it's true Mathew planted stories about Ring The Alarm being about Rihanna then I could see that having strained Bey and Rih's relationship forever. It would be hard to get past that.

Eh. I doubt it's that serious. Especially when Jay-Z continued working with her and Beyoncé allowed many pics with Rihanna since then. I mean if they dislike each other, Bey would've gave the Kim's treatment

I don't think they dislike each other. I think that - if it's true that Mathew started the rumors (not Bey, obviously) - then that would be super awkward for them. It doesn't mean they dislike each other but that's a weird position to be in. And let's be real, that's totally something her dad would do.

Where did you hear that Mathew started the rumors? Most of the rumors from that era came from people working on Rih's behalf trying to keep her name in the press by association; Bey really had nothing to gain from that. Rih's ex-publicist Jonathan Hay admitted publicly and in deep detail to planting rumors that would keep Rih's name brought up with Jay and more importantly, Bey when he was hired to generate buzz for her back in 2005.

Either way, I definitely agree that it would be awkward and tough for Bey to carry on a normal relationship with her considering those circumstances in spite that being proven to have been BS down the line. It's a shame because I think they would be so interesting together for a collab, but that will never happen. I think Bey respects her and she's let it be known on more than one occasion that she likes her music, but I don't think they have any type of relationship.
