I changed my mind last week. Martin's melody crafting skills have declined really hard during the last two years. Not that Luke is any better. Time to ditch BOTH.
The reason I don't want her working with Max is because she needs to step away from the current stream of hits and craft her own sound that's still poppy but not CURRENT poppy. She needs to set the next pop trend again like she did with Dark Horse... only keep the sound consistent throughout the album. We don't need her buying Max's 1989 rejects like everyone else on the radio

Luke and her lately mediocre productions and the rapist accusations that could affect Katy image and Max who is also becoming lame and is gonna try to give her 1989 left overs, get rid of Bonnie too since we are at it.
She needs new fresh blood in her team, i can't see a successful era with the team katy-lukas-matin-bonnie dominating/being in charge of KP4 again, she needs a change.
This doesn't mean that i would not bop to a lukas or max song if they are in KP4 but i would like to see new producers working with Katy.
a timeless Christmas bop should have been her final song with Max and then album with Diplo/Klas/Greg and some fresh blood, alas it was not meant to be
