People just love discrediting and underwhelming her, it's so sad I could imagine Kanye doing something of the sort but people start reaching and saying this is a Kanye album, that she's her puppet etc

I think that most people here (or in general idk) would like to see Rihanna as only pop artist.

if she kept releasing safe albums like LOUD, everyone would love it. That's just how I see it.

I used to think like that but it has changed a lot. If she was really like that I don't think I would still stan for her... Who knows. But after all there's tons of Katy Perry's and Taylor Swift's to come. I'm sure no one would be as versatile as Rih.

Actually I was thinking about the same thing yesterday. I mean GGGB & Loud are her best selling albums ww. I guess most of the GP are here for POP Rih. She'll make an album full of pop songs in the future, but for now, she'll stick with this sound.

Exactly: if she always does generic stuff, she's uninspired and plays it safe. When she tries to leave her comfort zone and does something more personal, artistic, or out of the box, they find some criticism, too. She just can't win with them.
