I'm shocked. I was rooting for this song so much back then... But only now this took off. One of the best pop songs of the year. His streaming is very low so I guess top 5 peak will be huge for him.

And someone correct me if I'm wrong but The Scientist is also the 2nd oldest song to be certified (over 100M streams) on Spotify (it was released in 2002). The oldest being Don't Stop Believing. Timeless masterpiece

I just feel like it should be easier for them to go top 10 on their home format. The real problem might be that their songs don't sell well at all (tho sales are becoming irrelevant).
