But he does get a strong amount of his support from the pop audience also. Eminem IS white and Lil Wayne was also super mainstream at one point (still not as much as Drake imo) so wat are those comparisons proving.

He gets played on pop radio, he has fans of both teenaged girls and queers (the two predominant forces of any pop girl), he gets parodied and meme'd heavily online, he releases singles in hope of attaining chart success, he goes on tour, he collaborates with other pop stars, etc.
Like, what else is there? He raps about money, bitches, his #squad!1!1!! ;0 and weed. Not exactly some underground concept ATRL'ers have never seen before.
If you don't like Drake, you just simply haven't heard his music or simply are riding the bandwagon to think 'it's cool to dislike him' like every artist when they're the #1 undisputed.
He's definitely FOMO friendly (nothing wrong with that) in the sense you can all like his music even if you do get scared listening to Rappers and only know them from hearing Mariah's remixes. His music is gr8.
