the thing about lana's music is that a vast majority of it does sound timeless. BTD, UV, HM...they all sould like they could been from 20 years ago or today. it's all such a good combination of past and present styles.

Am I the only one that doesn't like most of the photos Chuck has shot for Honeymoon?

Like, they're not terrible, but Neil Krug got the dreamy effect down to a t, like it's his trademark style and it fits with the album concept perfectly. Also, it bugs me that the photo on the back of the album with the tracklist clashes with the copyright text clashes with the windows of the Starline tour bus. Not to mention the Art Deco style font they chose for the tracklist in the back is so damn small and hard to read. The decline in aesthetics, Lana water u dewing???


This photo is PERFECT though definitely should've been the album cover.

I have a feeling it was the Urban Outfitters cover. Just seems right. I use it as the album cover on my iPod. That picture seems to visually connect to the albums soundscape.
