There are quite a few filler episodes I mean that was the premise of the show in seasons 2 and 5 I would say. Those two seasons took a light-hearted approach and there was no focus on a major storyline. And they're very enjoyable.
Even the storylines are quite good too especially in seasons 3 and 4. I would recommend it for you to watch especially since you liked Buffy/Angel (even though Charmed is better).
