Despite my hatred for Passenger, it would of been a solid lead with the right production, mastering, Britney's actual vocals and not sung in a grating nasally tone. It has the right hook to smash and a much more convincing theme for marketing a 'personal!' album.

I don't think "I've never been a passenger" is personal to Britney.
Work Bitch is the best song on BJ and deserved single treatment.
Passenger would have made things worse lbr. The chorus' vocals don't sound good either.
Passenger should have led Britney Jean with a huge location video that actually took advantage of the desert rather than having it as a backdrop to something that could have been done in a studio.
