What was she thinking though? Knowing Adele as well as I (think I) do, she would never lead us on unless she was absolutely sure. That suggests that she had some MAJOR doubts with the album. She had an emergency meeting with her label and they agreed to push the release back on year to the 20th Novemeber 2015. In early March, they seriously considered doing the surprise release strategy, but it was Adele who insisted that she would rather not take the risk and go down the traditional route. They agreed in May 2015 that she will do a worldwide tour in 2016, with quite a lot of breaks in between as she wants to spend a lot of time with her son. In July 2015, her team contacted her and told her that they had decided on a clever and accessible marketing plan. Adele agreed that she would promote the album up until the end of the first week of Decemeber, and then from the 15th January-31st January 2016. In September 2015, they finally decided on the final track listing and keeping the name 25.
The album is coming on November 20th
