Anyway basically it explained why I like modern sounds, I appreciate Madonna's earlier career and love a lot of the songs, and why I like Madonna now and how I appreciate the fact that she even bothers trying to persevere and how it really proves how authentic she is as an artist. When she was young she never said she'd back down and she's living it now.
Oh yeah, and ended with how I don't want to be thought of as some basic, ignorant stan cause I do know and adore all of Madonna's career, I just happen to like her later and current works. I guess I can relate to them better.

I get it. I didn't always like older music either and it took me forever to get into Cher's old stuff or Madge and Janet at all. Now honestly half of what I'm listening to are simply albums from the past that I'm discovering for the first time because the average crop of albums coming out lately are simply not very good.
I can appreciate you as a proper fan with genuine knowledge and respect for M's career. We'll never agree on literally anything though because my Madge trinity is Bedtime Stories, Ray of Light, and Erotica, plus I personally find Mirwais' production on Music and AL to be mostly a turn off (like they occasionally work for me, but I have to really be in the mood for glitchy electronic stuff) and of course I despise Hard Candy.
But you are literally always gonna get tons of shade from this base. We may believe you are a genuine fan, but you are gonna be at best like a deranged second cousin we sort of claim.
At least no one has accused you of cannibalism yet though....
