Only the Muslim region in the south which is an autonomous region should split from the rest of the country, not the whole south. I don't understand why Muslims can't coexist peacefully with other ethnic groups from within the same country. They always want to have their own government.

Plus I know a lot of christian Filipino ppl who are dear friends of mine and they tell me christian Filipino's are not holy and kind with the muslims (and vice versa of course).
if the tension between them will diminish then why not split them, you know what I mean sis?

It's a concept known as Manifest Destiny. It's basically an extension of American imperialism.
