It made over half its budget back with minimal marketing and an incredibly limited domestic release. TGI is 100% fine

SOrority Row is literally designed for ATRL, same for Valentine. Both are about hot bitchy girls being stalked by serial killers. The latter is from that era of slashers and the former is inspired by it. Killer Movie is also pretty tailor-made for ATRL.

If you want 80s, Curtains is really good, and I liked Night School, April Fool's Day (NOT the remake Good God), the original My Bloody Valnetine (remake is okay too)..

For modern, Cabin in the Woods is a gimme. Obvi. Wrong Turns are usually fun in a low-budget cheesy B-Movie way (though 2 is really good) Dream Home is amazing and seriously messed up. Behind the Mask: Rise of Leslie Vernon is a clever deconstruction. Final Destination series is fun

That's what I've been saying! Any other scene that was remotely scary (so barely) was given away in the trailer. I hate misleading trailers so much.

The Conjuring was so much better.

It's sad, everyone was so hyped for that movie because of the conjuring. They could've made a badass movie but it just felt lazy... It wasn't scary at all the demon scene tho>>> the rest is trash tho.

I have such a guilty pleasure love for the Wrong Turn series. It's the definition of a fun horror movie. Nothing serious, nothing that will blow your mind, just an old fashioned slasher franchise. And hello, Eliza!

The only one I truly hated was 6 (which... was admittedly DIRE), but yeah. I have a lot of fun with the rest, tho everything past 2 is kinda objectively weak
