Kesha and Selena are both pretty terrible, imo. I like music from both of them. Kesha is a phenomenal songwriter. Selena is a decent writer I guess. Other than songwriting, they do not excel in any area. Maybe dance for Selena, but that's arguable.
Selena would have flashes of greatness as shown by Love You Like A Love Song and Undercover... Had she actually contributed to the creation of those songs. Which she did not (?), so...
