Babs and GaGa have been spotted together multiple times this past year, and there were reports that Barbra wanted to work an album with her after the first week sales came in (lol). That would be the time to see how much sway GaGa has if that happened.

I think Barbara is trying to get Gaga to do a musical she's been working on. But I would definitely want to see them do something together a la C2C.
