Since gen 3 when GF started to have horrible starters i usually box them and use other pkmn...
Gen 1 i use all of them
Gen 2 chikorita and cyndaquil
Gen 3 treecko is the least awfull
Gen 4 turtwig the other are
Gen 5 snivy the othet suck
Grn 6 none all of them suck too sad cause fennekin and the grass one slay but their evos...
Still looking forward to the day we can play as an older teen/adult and for once not be a an abandoned 11-14 year old. That's why Colosseum slayed. Pretty sure half of the player characters' moms were drug addicts, especially GSC/HGSS one She just kicked us out of the house at like 14, yet always had time to call and ask us for money And only one of the PCs (RSE/ORAS) even had a known dad, the other ones were raised in neglectful single parent households Poor pokemon trainers.
Gen 1: Charmander (for my official 1st playthrough cause I had tried to play before when i was really young and picked a bulbasaur I think)
Gen 2: Queen Tododile
Gen 3: Torchic (but I use all)
Gen 4: Piplup
Gen 5: Snivy (and I used oshawatt in BW2 I tried tepig but it sucked too much)
Gen 6: Fennekin
Gen I: They all slay.
Gen II: Feraligatr and Typhlosion are cool. Meganium is lame.
Gen III: They're all pretty good, but Blaziken is my fave.
Gen IV: Infernape is the best of them all, and Empoleon is cool too. Torterra is... okay.
Gen V: Serperior's awesome, Samurott's okay, but Emboar is just a mess.
Gen VI: Greninja slays, Chesnaught's pretty awesome, Delphox is... okay.
