You know better. You know that when rappers were slaying in the 90s/00s there were albums and cd singles and they were not jumping on 10 features and releasing 8 songs and still getting platinum without struggling.
That you could compare their slayage to an artist that can't even sell 1M albums in the states twice despite massive promotion and single releases to include a list artists that can sell on their own.
That being said notice that even with the changes over time Nicki still can't get enough people to invest in supporting her albums for which is isn't the top selling female rapper and doesn't even rank top 3.

Britney and Beyonces WW single sales are similar despite Beyonce releasing almost 3x as many songs.
Britney and Beyonces album sales WW are different as Britney has confirmed 85M sales and estimated 100m+ shipped for which Beyonce isn't close.
They both have the same amount of #1 hits on hot 100. britney has more WW #1 hits and more iconic songs and videos.
It's just Britney started in 1998 and Beyonce went solo in 2003.
people shouldn't be so desperate to try and take that away from Britney.

People want to erase the past and are proud their faves can't convince people to go see them in concert to sell out consistent tour dates or spend $15 for an album and rather buy $1 singles or free streaming for which the artist gets barely anything...and they want to call this success and use this as receipts.
If taylor, bruon, drake, adele, katy didn't exist I might understand but there are artist that can do well in all categories not just a couple.
