Except that argument ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE, seeing as they both dropped a lead single on the same day, and Katy won against all odds. She had half the hype, wasn't as big as Gaga and she still won. She had the better selling singles, she had the better first weeks, she had the better selling album, she had the higher grossing tour. She won in EVERY single way. The only thing she didn't get was a Grammy, and the only reason Gaga even got that was because she worked with Tony, who'd already won that same Grammy 11 times. Her own work was completely ignored.
