Glen Powell is the one who picked out Chad and Patrick to play his brothers. This link also COMPLETELY disproves the theory that they're showing up to mourn Chad's passing since he talks about Thanksgiving with the Radwells and all.

That theory works only if there is one killer. If there are more than one, it could easily be one of those who you've mentioned.

The only theory that actually really bothers me is that some people keep expecting Chanel #4 to have some relevance. I'm almost positive that was just a throwaway detail that she died of meningitis and all, but some of these fans are like "Chanel #4's the Red Devil!"/"Maybe the Red Devil killed Chanel #4!"/etc.
