This is the best song to come from any of the 90s divas.
Usually shameless melodrama is tacky and embarrassing, but she pulls it off so effortlessly here.
The history behind the song is funny to me:

I just listened to that Carlos Del Rico Suave album DE LE TION, and it is garbage. No more than 3 above average songs on the entire album. The undeserved praise for it on here confirms my idea that ATRL members do everything possible to avoid interaction with normally functioning straight people.
Shunned Away From The Public isn't even better than One Direction's latest single. The public did her right leaving her to ROT in 2012 alongside Gotye and Neon Trees, except they actually delivered quality tracks.
Also more acclaimed than any Rihanna, Gaga, Katy, Timberlake, Bieber, Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki, etc. album as well. And yet who gives a ****? She's still a nobody.
But slay at her getting outsold by Tinashe. Talent really does win in the end.
it really is
it's about to overtake All By Myself in Spotify views
i've been playing it nonstop for the past 4 months
The music video is a little much, lol, but the chorus is just sooooo powerful. Those long stretches right before where she pleads "baby, baby." No one can do a pure love power ballad like Céline.
