born to die basically does what drake does, which is to make teenagers think that they're listening to deep music (hence why the 'lorde is just a kiddy version of lana' drags are ironic, as if lana is meant to be this sophisticated, adult listening). lorde actually seems insightful on pure heroine whereas for the most part lana comes across as nothing other than vapid.
