Yes, sometimes music is beyond words. But I'm not saying that lyrics are not important. It depends on the artist I'm listening to. For example, I listen to artist A because of his production, artist B because of his lyrics, and pay attention to vocals when the artist is a vocalist. Also, sometimes a song just makes you feel a certain way, and you relate to it on an emotional level regardless of the language.
I love melodies, instrumentals and harmonies. Listening to music in another language allows me to immerse myself in that, and also have words as an option as if I choose. And this is just one aspect. There is a lot of music that is amazing that I cannot understand, but that doesn't make it any less so.
