Excuse my ignorance with this, but I genuinely don't understand how Denise is more of a racist portrayal of a black woman than Zayday is. Zayday is the embodiment of the "angry, sassy black woman" stereotype (and she even used the word "ratchet" out of nowhere). I like both of them, and think they're hilarious, though I acknowledge the issue with Zayday as a character. What about Denise?

Zayday's hardworking, intelligent, ambitious, and doesn't scream "SHONDELL Y U GOT A KNIFE IN YOUR THROAT!" while talking about how dumb all white girls are and literally being "Black people GTFO the character!"

Zayday is kinda stereotypical, but nowhere near that level of OTT. And my bigger issue is that the Denise stuff was painfully unfunny. I like Brenda (Scary Movie) and Reese (the Urban Legend character she's ripping off) If she made me laugh, I'd lkike her. I do like offensive humor done well. Just.. there's no real wit with Denise

I literally like every character which is very unusual... and btw Chanel #5 is so underrated here
