The only reason is because typical consumer sentiments lie with the "good girl" and all.

I sincerely hope that Chanel isn't broken down into a good girl by the end of the season, because I'm not here for it. It's wonderful to have the cruel HBIC be the main character for once, because it's different.

Yeah I hope the same. Also if it turns out she's the red devil and she gets her punishment I am done. I want her to get away with everything, she is so self-indulgent. It feels strangely fresh to me (I know it's not, but still)

I agree with all of this.

Scream Queens' selling point is the fact that things are practically turned upside down. All the characters that have died have been good, and the main characters are all ones that are evil, and I live.

Well, I don't necessarily want a "good girl" lead (I don't like Grace either, Veronica from Heathers murders people, and Cady from Mean GIrls turns INTO the alpha bitch) But the thing with leads is they do need to be at least somewhat likeable or three dimensonal. Chanel is neither (in fact, she has less layers as the main character with two episodes than Madison Montgomery had in one), and that just gets.. kinda stale.

I don't want her to turn into a nice girl, but you can make a character three dimensional and somewhat sympathetic while keeping her as an alpha bitch (or demote her and make someone more threedimensional the lead). Madison is an example. Hell, Chad from Scream Queens is relatively three dimensional in comparison (you at least get something redemptive with his Boone friendship) There's Paxton from Hostel and Blanca from Killer Movie. I'm all for making a bitchy mean girl the lead, but you gotta give her a little more than bitchy mean girl. Like, at least give her a co-lead My Super Psycho Sweet 16 style

I don't think she's dislikeable. Sure, as a person, we see her as evil, but she's likable because of the fact that she's hysterical and captivating. We've seen more than just her evil one-liners; her scenes with Chad show a slightly different side of her, and the background with her as a minion was great.
