I agree with this. I've been with this show since its start and I never really got the hype around Asylum (although it's a good season). Coven has had it all. Murder House is so forgettable and it catered to sad teenage girls who want some sort of forbidden love. It was all sorts of pathetic. IMO
Coven > Asylum > FS > MH.

MH was good to capture you and pull you in but that's it.

Asylum is the best season because you really cared for the characters.
Lana being at Bloodyfaces house, escaping and ending up in Briafcliff again had me shook, . When Jude slowly becomes insane and then the finale,
even Evan had a cute role.

The other seasons have trouble connecting the audience (or at least me) with the characters.
I think the characters that comes closest are the twins because that one scene of them was very touching,
and Elsa.

I agree with u on Asylum tho. It's undeniably the best season overall.

Murder House is the most complicated I believe, both the content and the production itself. The editing, directing, the acting... everything is different from the other 3 seasons. It's my second fav behind Asylum, but Coven is nice and Freakshow isn't bad, but I am only at 6th episode..

The fact that Gaga's first scene is the 4some .... But the way Ryan described it also excites me, because I study production and I love the creative part of it (when I watch movies I think of the way they filmed certain scenes etc.) and Ryan said that he is really proud of that scene and that it's like a silent movie ... so I am very excited

Coven was poorly executed. Things were thrown in just for the sake of it, without actually having impact on the story or the characters. It seems as though the purpose of Coven was to have gif moments of female leads trying to out sass each other. Entertaining yes, but good? Meh. Coven doesn't have the same vibe as MH or Asylum. The direction, the music, and the characters didn't really hold up.

I always found Covens visuals and art direction to be overrated. It looked pretty basic to me, minus the fish eye lenses.

Empire is an upcoming musical drama television series about a music empire.
