I think the repeating of "I'm still breathing" and "I'm alive" is so powerful though. It's like she's convincing herself towards herself towards the end. I AM Alive.
I agree with you,it's not like she's saying "I want a donut",it's a big statement...like "**** you,I AM ALIVE,thanks for trying though",so it doesn't bother me at all.
