She's a good lyricist.
The problem is that she focuses on quantity and not quality.
She doesn't bring new things to the table that haven't already been introduced by wayne, drake, kim, foxy or missy and she's more known for her subpar paint by number rhymes than the handful of 70+ songs that actually have strong quality and content.

You missed the point. They are saying that she has talent but she wastes it on gimmicks and stuff that takes away from it. on talent alone she's above average. Not exceptional...not the greatest but above average then you take the gimmicks, silly songs that are put out more than the 10% of songs she has that are quality how on earth would a hip hop lover or the GP respect her for her craft...
and this isn't even including her surgeries, her kmart version of lady gaga phase...just purely on the music.
She puts out starships, anaconda and wack weak pop verses on pop features that doesn't introduce anything new, talk about anything important just the same ole stuff...
How are people going to appreciate the 10% of her catalog that actually has quality.
That's the point of the parody when she says she wastes her talent.
