they said the horror aspect is more like MH and Asylum, but overall Sarah said the season seems like a great mixture of all previous seasons.

I hope you are right, im rewatching asylum now for the first time in 3 years and everything is top notch. The writing, the acting, the lights, the creepy music, everything. Coven felt too gay and freakshow had the potential but this ship wrecked. It was too bright, too vivid and the horror got lost in all those costumes.

Coven still remains superior to freak show but it could have been much better.

I think he means that season 6 will kind of go back to the Asylum days.
Asylum was very simple, noir and most of the story happened there.

Hotel on the other hand looks complex, opulent and I think they said you're least safe home so I guess the show will not only focus on the Hotel.

I agree, hotel seems to be very luxurious i just hope the storyline is very cohesive and terrible things will happen inside these walls.

The thing i loved most about asylum was the dark atmosphere indeed.

Last season was kind of a non event bc there were so many useless characters. RM had better learned from that. This way thw story goes nowhere bc the episodes are a few.

I would love a farm themed season. Like a small countryside area that's experiencing domestic horror + neighborhood violence thing. Feeding body parts to the pigs, hiding bodies in the shed, farming tools as weapons, etc. Something like Children of the Corn...

I thought Freak Show had a lot of scary/uncomfortable moments. Like when Twisty killed the boyfriend, intact all of Twisty's scenes, Maggy's death and when Elsa gets her legs sawed off.
